20th Century Italian Murano White Opaline Glass Vase Ormolu Brass Vincenzo Nason

A 20th Century Italian Murano white opaline glass vase by Vincenzo Nason.

In a classic footed baluster form with a flared neck and an opaque white body, accented by a gold-toned band on the rim.

The style is consistent with the "Medici" shape and the opaline glass pieces with gilded accents produced by Nason's Murano glass manufacture, particularly those from the 1950s-1970s.

This piece is likely 1960s, with remnants of original sticker which once read: "VNC, Opaline de Venise, Hand Made in Italy"

In good condition with vivid gilt, there is a small difficult to see grey spot at the start of the neck (view final photo)
