Charlotte Rhead 20th Century Art Pottery Bowl Dish Crown Ducal England Vintage

A decorative piece of 1903s/40s English Art pottery - a serving bowl or dish designed by the celebrated ceramicist Charlotte Rhead for Crown Ducal in Staffordshire, England.

The piece features Rhead's signature tube-lined decoration, where a fine line of slip is applied to create outlines for the colourful enamel glazes. The design is a hand-painted, tube-lined stylized floral and foliage pattern featuring large, six-petaled flowers in shades of orange, yellow, and blue, interspersed with dark olive green leaves. The central area is left plain with an oval cartouche outlined in a geometric, scalloped border.
