Pair of Georgian Davenport Pearlware Ceramic Plates Antique Early 19th Century

A nice pair of early 19th century Georgian Davenport pearlware ceramic plates features a circular scalloped rim with hand-painted polychrome enamel decoration over an underglaze cobalt blue print.

The central motif depicts a stylized Chinoiserie floral arrangement rising from a dark cobalt base, flanked by trailing floral sprigs and leaves along the moulded rim in shades of iron red, green, purple, and blue.

A dark blue inner geometric border frame encircles the central well, exemplifying classic Imari-influenced English pottery designs of the Regency era.
