This 19th century circa 1880 Ashworth ironstone china plate features a vibrant Chinoiserie pattern with two central landscape panels set against a rich green ground.

The design is detailed with orange floral borders and delicate gilded scrollwork throughout the rim and internal field.

The reverse displays the printed purple Royal Arms backstamp and and the impressed Ashworth manufacturer mark along with hand-painted pattern number 1038, identifying it as a G.L. Ashworth & Brothers piece manufactured in Hanley, England.
