A beautiful 19th century porcelain wall pocket featuring a high-relief naturalistic botanical design.

The piece showcases a trio of highly detailed scabious flowers, also known as pincushion flowers, with textured green centres and pink petals. These are set against a large, deeply veined heart-shaped leaf background.

Featuring an integrated ribbon-style loop for hanging with elegant gold gilt accents.

Reminiscent of George Jones' botanical designs but is possibly of continental origin.
