A beautiful Japanese Meiji porcelain charger showcasing the rich Imari palette of cobalt blue, vibrant iron red and orange, and lavish gold highlights.

The design is highly decorative, featuring a central floral roundel surrounded by radiating panels which alternate between dark blue sections with scrolling gold and reserved foliate medallions, and sections filled with dense floral arrangements in shades of rust, green, and orange.

Diameter: 34.25 cm / 13.5"

In great condition with no chips or cracks, some marks from production under the glaze on the white on central roundel.

I have another available for sale if interested in a pair.
