A charming 19th-century Victorian Staffordshire pottery figure depicting a shepherdess.
Decorated in brightly coloured enamel paints, the standing female wears a purple bodice, an off-the-shoulder neckline, and a voluminous tiered white and blue skirt, with a small decorated hat perched on her head whilst she stands beside a rustic pale orange fence.
The scene is grounded on an oval base painted green to represent grass, featuring two reclining sheep or lambs, one white and black whilst the other is brown and white.
Height: 15.5 cm - Base: 10 x 6.5 cm
In great condition with no chips or cracks.
With sticker on underside indicating it was once apart of a collection, I've been unsuccessful in finding another example of this model.
