Neoclassical Antique French Bronze Bacchante Nymph Woman Figure Boizot Sculpture

This French bronze sculpture is cast after a late 18th century Neoclassical model designed by French sculptor Louis-Simon Boizot during his time as director of the Sèvres porcelain studio.

The dynamic figure captures a nymph or Bacchante in a graceful fluid twist, lifting her flowing drapery overhead while resting against a tree trunk decorated with grapevines.

Raised upon a bronze circular pedestal base, the piece features finely detailed patinated bronze work, highlighting the delicate facial features, intricate hair, and classic drapery folds. Produced circa 1900.
