Art Deco Royal Doulton Stoneware Antique Orange Lemon Vase 20th Century Pottery

This 1920s Royal Doulton stoneware vase features a bulbous rounded form with a short tapered neck and a white rim.

Finished in a mottled olive-brown glaze that provides a neutral backdrop for the relief-moulded citrus fruit design encircling the upper shoulder. The pattern consists of stylized lemons or oranges in a warm mustard-yellow hue, framed by elongated, dark brown leaves that hang vertically down the sides. 

The tactile quality of the stoneware and the geometric simplicity of the fruit arrangement reflect the early 20th-century pottery style typical of Royal Doulton's studio works from this era.
