Victorian Coalport Pink Porcelain Dessert Service Plate Tazza Stand Antique Set

A six-piece service of Victorian porcelain dessert wares, including four plates and two footed serving dish tazza/compotes.

Featuring pink borders against white centres, the pieces are lavishly decorated with extensive rococo revival gold gilding in scrolling heart, vine, and scroll motifs.

The pink borders contain cartouches, finely hand-painted with polychrome floral sprays. The overall shape of the pieces is lobed/scalloped with applied rococo-style handles on the dishes, characteristic of the rich, ornamental style Coalport was known for during the Victorian period.
