A lovely pair of Japanese Meiji period Satsuma pottery scalloped bowls decorated in the thousand flowers pattern and finished lavishly in gilt.
With their rosewood stands they look fantastic on display. Their rims differ slightly, one is scalloped whilst the other is shaped like flower petals.
Diameter: 6.25 cm - Height 2.5 cm
With 早川 marks for Hayakawa
In excellent condition with no chips/cracks and minimal wear to gilt.
