A charming German figural tobacco jar/humidor crafted from hand-painted porcelain and dating from the 19th Century. Produced by Conta and Boehme.

The piece is creatively modelled as an elegantly dressed lady seated and enjoying tea, with the top half of her body serving as the removable lid. She is highly detailed, featuring a pink and white dress with blue bows, and is shown raising a teacup while balancing a tiny tray. This collectible piece would have been used to keep tobacco moist and there is an example in the V&A's collection.

Height: 22 cm - Length: 14.5 cm - Depth: 14 cm - 1370g

With difficult to spot damage to her little finger and the handle of the jug.
