This early 19th century Georgian Spode porcelain teapot and matching oval stand feature the vibrant Imari pattern 1250, characterized by a rich palette of cobalt blue, iron red, and heavy gold gilding.
The teapot has a high-shouldered, slightly tapered body with a prominent gilded spout and an ornate loop handle, topped by a domed lid with a golden finial. Its decoration is divided into geometric panels containing stylized floral motifs and scale patterns, while the lower section displays a continuous hand-painted floral spray.
The accompanying oval stand mirrors this panelled design around a central floral arrangement, all finished with a thick gilded rim.
This set exemplifies the high-quality bone china and ornate Chinoiserie-inspired aesthetics produced by the Spode factory during the early 1800s.
In great condition with light wear to gilt.
Stand dimensions: 20.25 x 16.25 cm - Teapot height: 16.5 cm
