Danish Vintage 20th Century Eyvind Olesen Impressionistic Landscape Oil Painting

A mid 20th century Danish oil painting by Eyvind Olesen depicting a vivid, impressionistic woodland landscape featuring a path winding through a dense forest.

The composition emphasizes thick, expressive brushstrokes and a rich colour palette of vibrant autumn tones, including earthy browns, deep greens, golden yellows, and touches of red, framed by dark tree trunks that border the trail.

Light filters through the canopy to create dynamic reflections and shadows along the ground, bringing atmosphere and movement to the natural scene.

Presented in a light neutral frame, the artwork showcases classic Scandinavian modernist landscape painting techniques through textured impasto and bold colour blocking. Signed 'Eyv Olesen' and dated for 1965.

With some minor loss/flaking to paint but in good overall condition and displays well.
