The carving displays a dynamic foo dog crouching low holding a openwork brocade ball with both front paws.

It demonstrates excellent traditional puzzle craftsmanship, featuring a loose, free-rolling wooden ball inside the mouth cavity and a hollowed-out sphere between its limbs.

In good condition with both original dark glass bead eyes intact.
