A tin-glazed ceramic faience jug from Stupava, Slovakia, crafted in the traditional Haban folk tradition, featuring a prominent hand-painted monogram mark under the handle attributed to master potter Ferdiš Kostka (1878–1951).

The baluster-shaped vessel is decorated in vibrant polychrome glazes depicting a continuous wilderness hunting scene with a hunter in green attire aiming a firearm, accompanied by a spotted hound chasing chamois through a mountainous landscape.

Intricate geometric, arch, and lattice borders in yellow, blue, green, and brown frame the neck, lower body, and handle. The piece displays characteristic light crazing and minor foot rim glaze wear consistent with early 20th-century Slovakian art pottery with a faint hairline crack from the rim.

Height: 16.25 cm
