A wonderful Spode teapot finely decorated with the Swansea cabbage rose and lavish gilt detailing.
Signed pattern #3886, Spode teapots featuring the cabbage rose are seldom seen and I've been unable to find another of this model online. Produced early 1800s.
Height: 16 cm - Max diameter (approx): 27 cm
With a crack to the rear of the pot but no losses or restoration. The paint & gilt is in great condition.
I also have 2x cup & saucer trios of the same set listed :-)
